Apprentice Fire & Security Engineer
The role is varied and will involve both installation and maintenance work and duties will include:
Carrying out 1st and 2nd fix for installation of intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and also fire safety systems (pulling cables through and affixing equipment to walls etc.) Use of hand tools & cordless drill Attending routine maintenance and service calls Fault finding and commissioning systems Completion of site paperwork Working to company procedures and following all health & safety guidelines Applicants should be willing to attend day release at Team Valley, Gateshead (one day per week) It is desirable that applicants should also be able to drive, or interested in learning in the near future Probationary period appliesTraining:
You will attend Access Training (Team Valley, Gateshead) for day release either a mixture of weekly and fortnightly and be enrolled on the Fire, Emergency and Security Systems level 3 apprenticeship standard.
Training Outcome:
The role will develop over time, and there is the possibility of securing a company vehicle in the future for the right candidate.

Working Hours :
08.30-5.00pm Monday to Friday (40 hours per week with 30 mins lunch break)
