Apprentice Data Analyst (Level 3)
Collecting and processing data from a range of sources
Cleansing and enriching data prior to analysis
Mapping and documenting data flows
Matching (linking) records between sources, using algorithms, tools and your professional judgement
Identifying potential inconsistencies and data quality issues and bringing these to the data owners’ attention
Preparing reports, summaries and data visualisations to help others work with the data and understand trends
Supporting regular multi-agency triage and panel processes by providing them with data in an agreed format, helping them to make decisions
Training:
You will spend at least 20% of your working hours training or studying on a Level 3 Data Technician apprenticeship, delivered by the Apprenticeship Academy. The rest of the time, you will be based in our offices in Cottingham, East Yorkshire. You will be managed by our Data and Analysis Manager, who will provide you with both challenging projects and support in your role with us.

Further HE/FE Study Progression into data related, criminology or policing career

This role is hosted by the OPCC on behalf of the Humber Violence Prevention Partnership (VPP), a Home Office-funded Violence Reduction Unit (VRU). Launched in 2022, the Humber Violence Prevention Partnership (VPP) exists to lead and co-ordinate the local response to preventing and reducing Serious Violence through a public health approach. It is one of 20 Home Office-funded Violence Reduction Units across England and Wales.
Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm Friday 9am - 4.30pm.
