Apprentice Public Health and Community Safety Support

Processing applications for grants and licences Deal with internal and external customers – face-to-face, by telephone and email Providing advice on Public Health and Community Safety services Database administration Update, maintain and extract information using computer systems and manual files as required Undertaking assessments of information, such as means-testing for grant applications Assist with arranging and attending meetings Assist with creating and updating internal and external website pages Maintain office stationery supplies Undertake specific activities/projects as directed by Line Manager

Please Note the closing date for this role is 13 October 2024.



Training:

Once a week at college studying toward qualification, the remainder of the week will be at the Council Offices with the Public Health and Community Safety team.



Training Outcome:

The apprentice will have a level 3 business administration qualification.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday. Working hours 37 per week, including training day at college. Starting at around 08:30-09:00 until around 17:00.
