Nursery Practitioner Apprentice

The apprentice will oversee play and assist children when needed throughout the nursery setting They will assist with mealtimes, toileting and any other care needs They will take on key children and observe, monitor and plan for them They will eventually liaise with parents/carers on a day-to-day basis This list is not exhaustive and they will take their lead from the nursery practitioners

Training:
Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard Paediatric First Aid Level 2 in Food Hygiene  Safeguarding children and young people All training will take place on site during working hours

Training Outcome:
If the Apprentice is successful and employed, they may then continue to train towards Early Years Educator (Level 3)

Employer Description:
We are a private childcare care setting. 74 place nursery. We have been in business for 35 years. We have 3 separate units for babies, 2-3 and 3+. We are a large team who are looking for someone to bring new and fresh ideas whilst learning all about nursery life and learning to look after children aged 0-5 years.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday; working between the hours 07:30 - 18:00 (exact shifts & breaks TBC).
