Property Maintenance Apprentice - Surrey

As an Apprentice Property Maintenance Operative you will learn all about what it takes to make sure properties are maintained to a high and safe standard.

You will be assigned a mentor, who will work with you to develop your on the job experience. You will work directly within one of our teams, learning Rydon's approach to property maintenance.  

You will learn a wide range of trade skills such as Carpentry, Plumbing, Plastering, Tiling, Decorating, minor Electrical work and appropriate health and safety training. Along the way you will develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours you will need to carry out general maintenance, provide excellent customer service, to working with external contractors and providing first response to fault finding.



Training:
You will learn directly within one of our teams and at the same time, you will study part time. This is on day release to college. The College is located in Redhill, Surrey

Training Outcome:
After you have completed your apprenticeship you will be a qualified property maintenance operative. You may then also have the opportunity to continue your learning and specialise in a further relevant trade qualification. You will continue to learn and develop within the team and there are also opportunities to progress your career into Supervisory or Maintenance Management.

Employer Description:
Rydon Maintenance successfully provides responsive day to day repairs, property refurbishment, and electrical and gas servicing to a variety of clients, predominantly within the healthcare sector . We currently provide maintenance services to over 300 buildings for 20 Trusts. Join Rydon Maintenance as an Apprentice and you will be joining a well-established property maintenance business. Working Hours :
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. There is an hour for lunch. One of these days you will be attending College.
