Apprentice Land & Measured Building Surveyor

Training in Surveying Assist the surveyor onsite at client premises in calculating land and building measurements. Operate the latest survey technology, including the Total Station (Theodolite), GPS, and/or Scanner, to support the surveyor. Help to verify the accuracy of the surveyor's calculations. Take responsibility for checking the surveyor's equipment before and after jobs, ensuring all batteries are fully charged. Upload data onto the system and export it to AutoCAD. Use office time to learn software such as n4ce, AutoCAD, and REVIT, while assisting the surveyor in producing technical drawings. Administration. Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and photocopying. Handle basic office maintenance and cleaning tasks.

Training:
Geospatial survey technician Level 3 apprenticeship standard Block release training at Dudley College of Technology Institute of Technology Black Country and Marches. Block release 2 weeks at a time around every 6 weeks. Zoological Dr, Dudley DY1 4AE.

Training Outcome:
Access to additional training for further qualifications, many of which are provided in-house, as well as CICES and RICS, with all associated costs covered by the company. Excellent opportunities and support for career progression for the right candidate.

Working Hours :
Workdays vary by survey location and duration. We typically start at 7:00am to arrive on-site by 8:00-8:30am Return times range from 1:00pm to 6:00pm A minimum of 30 hours per week is guaranteed, usually totalling 36-40 hours with overtime and travel
