Teaching Assistant Apprentice

Under the guidance of teachers, the successful candidate will be involved in working with individuals or small groups of students to support their education, personal and social development and establishing positive relationships to assist students in completing structured learning activities.  

Duties will include:

Support to implement learning activities working with individual or small groups of students Support to assist the development of varying skills that support students learning Support in producing learning resources Support to assist in student supervision Support in monitoring and recording of student progress and developmental needs Reporting student progress to the teacher Work within the Academy’s policy and procedures Working to the apprenticeship framework and completing work in a timely manner

Training:

Teaching Assistant Standard Level 3. Training is delivered in the workplace. 

Training Outcome:

Potential position upon completion of the apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3:20pm. Term time and inset days only.
