Apprentice Assistant Accountant

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

Bank reconciliation Credit control - chasing debt then escalating to management if required Supporting with fortnightly and monthly timesheets for payroll Supporting Financial controller with Ad hoc duties Resolve customer invoice queries CIS return preparation VAT return preparation Intercompany invoices and reconciliation of ledgers. Subcontractor weekly invoices

Full training will be given on anything above which is not familiar to the candidate e.g. CIS returns.

Training:
The Apprentice will work towards their apprenticeship standard in Assistant Accountant level 3 The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course This is a Day Release programme which means you will attend Lincoln/Newark College, 1 day per week, term time only. This will fall within your contracted working hours

Training Outcome:
Permanent position on successful completion of the apprenticeship with Management Accountant role progression.
