Apprentice Upholsterer - 14717

Working alongside experienced craftsmen and technicians to learn all details of traditional and modern upholstery techniques, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with Cutting and Sewing fabrics for upholstered furniture pieces. Attaching foams/fabrics/paddings/suspensions using various modern and traditional techniques including buttoning. Learning how to operate and maintain upholstery equipment. Helping to assemble and finish upholstered furniture products. Understanding quality control procedures and ensuring products meet Sofas and Stuff required quality control.

Training:
Level 2 Furniture Manufacturer Apprenticeship Standard Functional Skills maths and English (if required) Work-based learning  Training schedule has yet to be agreed upon, further details will be made available at a later date

Training Outcome:
Progression onto full time employment

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday; 6:45am - 4:45pm. Breaks am/pm (Paid) and 30 min lunch (Unpaid).
