Apprentice Teaching Assistant - Blackbrook Primary School

The successful applicant will have the ability to:

Be adaptable and flexible Work successfully as part of our dedicated and hardworking team by supporting the delivery of the National Curriculum Enthuse, inspire and motivate children Assess children's skills and understanding across all aspects of learning Work in an inclusive school that strives to achieve outstanding outcomes for all children Build positive relationships with parents, carers and other professionals Work across other year groups as required Support basic administrative tasks in the school as required This is not an exhaustive list and may adapt and change to fit the needs of the school.

Training:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship standard, which includes:

Functional skills in maths, English (if required) End-Point Assessment (EPA) - you will work towards achieving the knowledge, skills and behaviours for the Teaching Assistant Standard. This is achieved on completion of an externally assessed EPA. Learners will complete a portfolio of evidence and the EPA consists of the following activities: practical observation with questions & answers and professional discussion.

Training Outcome:

Fully qualified and will be able to apply for a permanent teaching assistant role if available.

Working Hours :
Monday – Friday, term time only (8.45am - 3.15pm) Total hours per week: 30.42 Thirty-minute unpaid break Total hours per week: 30.42 hours a week.
