HR Assistant Apprenticeship - Oasis Academy Hadley
Responsible, as a member of staff, for promoting and developing a positive culture and ensuring diversity within the Academy communities is recognised and respected
Contribute to the development of the Academies’ vision, values, and aims, and abide by agreed professional behaviours and attitudes
Support the recruitment process by providing templates and guidance to staff as required
Ensure compliance with Oasis Community Learning’s Recruitment and Selection Policy and Procedure at all times, with particular emphasis on safer recruitment
Support the process of vacancy approval, ensuring policy adherence and timely collection of the correct information
Coordinate interview/selection logistics, including room bookings, diary management, scheduling, and preparation of relevant materials
Respond to inquiries, creating a positive first impression and ensuring that recruitment pack requests and general queries are addressed swiftly and professionally
Administer the shortlisting process, ensuring compliant and timely completion
Assist with the coordination of interview setups under the guidance of the PD Officer, including finalising the schedule, contacting candidates, sending invites, and liaising with managers to ensure all paperwork is sent prior to interviews
On interview days, take copies of candidates’ qualifications, right-to-work documentation, and DBS check documentation, ensuring accuracy and appropriate storage
Inform applicants of the progress of their application either by phone or in writing
Training:
Qualification: Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship Standard
Duration of Course: 20 months
Training Provider: LMP Education (Rated No 1 Training Provider in the UK!)
All learning is delivered online/remotely alongside placement at the school
Training Outcome:
Possible full-time employment upon completion of the apprenticeship.
