Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprentice at Abacus Nursery, Taunton

We provide a high standard of care, learning and play in line with the EYFS.

The position will include:

Learning about Key Person responsibilities Planning, observation and assessment using Tapestry (online development journal) Learning how to set up resources and activities in a way that is stimulating and excitingly presented for children.

Training:
Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner Functional Skills in English and maths if required End Point Assessment - Knowledge Test and Professional
Discussion Delivery method and location of training to be confirmed.

Training Outcome:
Progression onto the Level 3 Apprenticeship A potential career in early years.

Abacus is a privately owned children's nursery, fully staffed and equipped to satisfy the emotional, social, intellectual and physical needs of your child. Abacus has grown to be a busy nursery over the past few years employing up to 20 members of staff. All of our staff have been selected due to their qualifications, experience and most importantly for possessing a genuine love for working in Early Years.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, either a 9.00am - 5.00pm or 8.00am - 6.00pm day at the nursery, we are open all year (not school hours / times). 35 hours per week. Exact shifts to be confirmed.
