Commis Chef Apprentice

We pride ourselves in fresh, homemade, authentic Italian cuisine and we’re looking for someone to mentor, with the opportunity to grow.

You’ll be producing prep for the deli and restaurant, which includes fresh pasta, salads and vegetables, Italian main meals, and working services at the restaurant  where you’ll be producing fresh, Italian meals and learning to work under pressure. Jobs are varied, we like our staff to learn a bit of everything, from breads and pastries to gelato and cakes, they’ll always be something different to learn. Freedom to be creative is welcomed, and the opportunity to grow and learn how to make authentic Italian cuisine.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is consistent and reliable and have a high standard of hygiene.

They should be approachable and be open to learning a wide variety of skills and motivated in producing excellent quality meals.

Training:

Training with Milton Keynes College one day a week at the Bletchley Campus for your Commis Chef Apprenticeship.

Ongoing training, support and development with the employer

Expert mentors / trainers who will guide you through your Apprenticeship

Hands-on learning, who will give you real-world feedback 

Training Outcome:

A long career in a growing business and working your way up the chef ladder.

We are an Italian, family run restaurant which has been in the family over 30 years. We have an Italian restaurant and deli just round the corner and specialise in producing fresh, authentic Italian cuisine, especially fresh pasta and fish. We make everything homemade from breads, pizzas, pastries and cakes to fresh pasta and gelato. We take pride in what we do and won best bakery in Buckinghamshire 2019

Working Hours :
Varies but also flexible. Mornings and afternoons and some evenings.
