Early Years Educator Apprentice

Working under the guidance of the teacher as part of the class based role, the successful post-holder will be responsible for key responsibilities as described in the Job Description that will be provided. This will include:

Provide daily assistance and support to all children;
Support and deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum;
Contribute to planning and preparation of daily activities;
Provide a safe and stimulating environment for all children; and
Promote the welfare of children and young people.

Training:

The successful candidate will work towards a Level 3 apprenticeship - Early Years Educator.

This training will be structured and delivered by Cheshire College – South & West with support from a mentor in the workplace.

If the candidate does not hold GCSE grades A*-C (9-4) or equivalent, they will be required to complete a Level 2 Functional Skill in the relevant subjects.



Training Outcome:

Potential for full time role upon succeccful completion of the apprenticeship.
