Apprentice CNC Operative
Assist in the setup of CNC machines, including loading tools and materials
Develop skills to be able to operate: CNC (pyramid roller), CNC wire, XYZ CNC milling machine and CNC controlled press brake
Observe and learn how to read technical drawings and 1.1 drawings
Assist in monitoring the machining process and making adjustments as directed
Learn how to perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines
Help inspect finished products for quality assurance
Assist in troubleshooting and reporting any machine issues
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies
Adhere to all HR policies and procedures
When necessary, carry out other reasonable requests to undertake tasks in the furniture department and/or other areas of the business
Training:
20% of working hours will be given for off the job training to complete apprenticeship studies

Employer Description:
We are a Manufacturing company divided into 2 sections. Sports & Horticultural. We manufacture sporting equipment for various events such as the Olympics, world cups etc. We still stand as number 1 sports equipment in the UK. Our Horticultural side manufacturing various garden equipment such as arches, structures, planters and furniture.
Working Hours :
Monday to Friday. Flexibility required during the company’s peak trading periods. Shifts to be confirmed.
