Planning and assisting with setting up different activities for the children Interacting with the children Occasional day trips Encourage children’s development Interacting with parents (once trained) Supporting with mealtimes and snacks Supporting with personal care Keeping children safe at all times Assisting with keeping the nursery clean and tidy Keeping up to date with all coursework

Training:
Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship qualification Level 2 Functional Skills English - If required Level 2 Functional Skills maths - If required  On and off the job training and location to be confirmed

Training Outcome:
Potential to progress onto achieving a Level 3 Early Years Educator Childcare Apprenticeship Potential to gain permanent employment at the setting after completion of the apprenticeship

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday between the setting's opening hours of 08:00 to 18:00.
