Business Administrator Apprentice
Day to day office duties such as managing queries, deliveries, site visitors or administration by phone, e-mail or letter within office team
All admin, front of house and office-based tasks including the managing of confidential pupil and staff information
Support with day-to-day financial duties such as making, entering and managing regular orders and deliveries for wraparound care, office and admin and other school supplies
Managing daily orders of pupil milk and fruit
Full use of Mercury E5 systems to include setting up framework orders; creating purchase orders, managing, checking and paying invoices (under supervision)
Support with budget setting and monitoring
Weekly food orders
Preparation of invoices for pre-school parents (under supervision)
Preparation of peripatetic music lesson invoices
Upkeep of School Fund accounts
Regular banking of cash
Upkeep of Pupil Premium spending records
Upkeep of furniture, asset management and contracts registers
Stock checks under supervision of finance administrator and/or site manager
Efficient use of Mercury E5 (finance), i-Trent, SIMS, Microsoft office sharepoint and ParentMail systems
Strong admin skills including eg Excel, spreadsheets, word
Training:
You will also work towards achieving a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration at Heart of Worcestershire College, with full support from the school.
