Scanning/transferring of supplier invoices for processing Posting tenant receipts Supplier invoice processing Bank reconciliations Selected transfers at the bank Liaising with suppliers via email and phone Daily post to be actioned (cheque/remittances) Daily Banking (taking cash/cheques to branch) Tax Receipts Supplier reconciliations Supplier invoice rejections Raising transfer forms Confirming alias acceptance for all payments received in different names Review and clear Accounts Payable and Cashiering inboxes General ad hoc duties

Training:

The Level 3 Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship Standard includes 6 AAT exams, in addition to the Synoptic Assessment as part of the End-Point Assessment (EPA) process. You will receive an AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting upon successful completion.

The knowledge units will be delivered at the EMA training hub in Nottingham (depending on apprentices’ location) through day release.

AAT Modules are as follows:

Introduction to Bookkeeping (L2 Unit) Principles of Bookkeeping (L2 Unit) Management Accounting Techniques Financial Accounting: Preparing Financial Statements Business Awareness Tax Processes for Business

Training Outcome:

Lambert Smith Hampton are keen to progress the apprentice through the various levels of AAT once completing level 3 AAT,with plans to progress onto higher study with the capability and willingness to progress further onto chartered status.
