Apprentice Civil Engineering Site Technician

Duties (over the duration of the apprenticeship)

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out ACSW Field testing and other Field Testing.
• Prepare and review ACSW reports for review by the management.
• Review 3rd Party Ground Investigation and Remediation Strategy reports.
• Undertake the production of Materials Management Plans for movement of site materials.
• Manage and Supervise Materials Management Plans during earthworks.
• Track the movement of materials using GNSS GPS equipment.
• Carry out basic settlement analyses using proprietary software.
• Carry out basic cut and fill analyses using proprietary software.
• Fieldwork including Soil logging, sampling and environmental monitoring (air, water).
• Directing subcontractors including plant, machinery and organising transport for movement of soils.
• Writing technical reports.
• Maintaining and servicing specialist testing apparatus.
• Build and maintain

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday Between 8am-5pm (depending on site/office based)
