ICT Apprentice
To provide front line support and services to Classrooms
Provide support and coaching to teachers, students and support staff
Assist with installation, configuration and imaging of desktop computers, laptops and chrome books
User Account Management on various IT systems including Active Directory
Application support and maintenance (currently SIMS)
Wireless Network System
Maintaining equipment asset registers and device loans
Managing and supporting cloud-based systems – Office 365 / Google
Perform backups and restoration of data when required
IT Hardware upgrades / repairs
Deal with external suppliers / support contracts
Ordering of IT equipment and consumables
To assist at College events, (Awards evenings / Open Evenings / Welcome Days / Sports Days) as and when required
Assist with the maintenance of Printers, Print Management Software, Scanners and projector/TVs/interactive boards
To perform any technical and administration related tasks as requested by the Network Manager
Training:
This apprenticeship is delivered as a day release at our Stratford campus.

There is an opportunity to secure a permanent position after successfully completing the apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 16:00, with 48 minute lunch break.
