Commis Chef Apprentice

Your Primary Purpose:

At The Falcon, the role of Commis Chef exists to assist the Chef de Partie in the timely & safe production and presentation of food on the appropriate section creating those ‘moments of magic’ for our guests.

 Your Key Responsibilities: 

Contribute to the effective running of the kitchen by understanding the rota system and maintaining good timekeeping. Safeguard regulatory compliance by ensuring the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, personal hygiene, housekeeping, and safe working practices. To complete and follow instructions as directed to ensure the highest standards are always achieved. Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to ensuring the safety of our guests and team members. To maintain the physical product and advise of any issues that arise. To maintain standards and consistency in food preparation and delivery to ensure the best service is delivered to our guests.

 Your Education and Qualifications:

Essential:

English language, written and spoken. Food hygiene level 2 certification. NVQ/GNVQ level 2 or Equivalent. 

Desirable
• Food hygiene level 3 certification



Training:
Level 2 Commis Chef.

Training Outcome:

Qualified Commis Chef.
