Level 2 Welding Apprenticeship
Welding a variety of fabrications from large frames to small brackets in mild steel and stainless steel
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Material preparation
Maintaining a clean work area
Reporting directly to the Production Manager and working in a team of 4 other experienced fabricator welders
Training:
You will be attending Peterborough College two days a week for the duration of the apprenticeship programme.
Training Outcome:
This job offers the potential to progress from small fabrication and welding jobs onto large structural jobs as the candidate experience grows.
There is potential for multiple-material welding.
The company would sponsor additional training both in welding and related workplace areas such first aid and fork lift driving.
Employer Description:
Manufacture of agricultural machinery specifically crop sprayers, supplying the UK and worldwide customers.
Working Hours :
8am – 4:30pm. Days tbc.
