Early Years Apprentice
To assist and input ideas into the planning of the curriculum by providing safe, creative and appropriate educational opportunities for all children within an inclusive environment
To help prepare and organise activities and to set up the playroom and outdoor classroom for the daily programme and to help tidy away at the end of the session
To act as a keyworker to a group of children, liaising closely with parents/carers to ensure individual needs and next steps are met and to be responsible for observations and record keeping relating to the progress and development of these children
To advise the pre-school leader of any concerns e.g. over children, parents or the safety of equipment, preserving confidentiality as necessary
To teach children, offering an appropriate level of support and challenge
To follow all pre-school policies and procedures
To attend training courses and meetings as required
To communicate and support colleagues by working as part of a team
To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Pre-School leader
To support and assist children with their personal hygiene and to carry out kitchen duties

Training to take place one day per week at NSCG
Training Outcome:
Could lead to a permanent position for the right person

We provide childcare to our local area for children between 18 months and 5 years. We are a fully inclusive practice to children with all needs. We are charity run and Ofsted registered.
Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 08:30-16:00
