Early Years Educator Apprentice

You will be involved in the day-to-day care of children aged 3 months to 5 years You will be involved in the planning and implementing of activities for the children, expanding creative skills, and encouraging children to be curious in their learning You will gain experience in all the age groups of the children who attend You will be involved in working in partnership with the parents and the families of the children

Training:

Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship. 

Apprentices who have not achieved the equivalent of level 2 in maths and English, must achieve these prior to end point assessment. 
Training will include paediatric first aid qualification. 

Apprentices will be allocated a Trainer Assessor, and training will be planned and delivered in conjunction with the employer to meet the individual needs of the apprentice.  

The apprentice will spend 20% of their working hours in off the job activities and training. 

On the job and off the job training will be delivered in their workplace. 
 



Training Outcome:

A potential full-time role on completion of apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Shifts will be on a 4-weekly rota Monday to Friday covering Nursery opening and closing times 7.30am - 6 pm
