EngineeringTechnician Apprentice (Toolmaker)

To assist with service and repair of press tooling, jigs, fixtures and checking media To support new project tooling from commissioning stages through to start of production To attend press breakdowns, identify causes, problem solve and implement solutions at the press machine with minimal downtime To take ownership of specific tool suites and maintain performance with minimal supervision once qualified To improve and develop current production and new project tooling To ensure company targets are met in respect of delivery and quality of parts produced To manufacture tool and ancillary spares, replacements, and modification components To document and update die history and other work records
Ensure safe working practices are maintained and adhered to Undertake personal training to enhance skills necessary to perform key tasks To comply with any reasonable requests and duties as may be assigned by the Tool Room Supervisor and/or Manager from time to time.

Training:

The apprentice will undertake a plethora of knowledge, skills and behaviours during their apprenticeship training these will include:

Level 3 Engineering Technician Standard Safety awareness training and continuous cpd Development competence diploma around Ricor job role Development knowledge diploma around Ricor job role Engineering maths Hand skills Problem solving CAD and technical drawing

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday day shift 08.00-16.00. Following training may work shifts or overtime as required.
