Training:
Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
The Level 3 Apprenticeship for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator) prepares learners to become Early Years Educators, enabling them to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 yearsThis qualification is structured around the following four themes:
Health and well-being Legislation, frameworks and professional practice Play, development and learning for school readiness Professional development You will also complete a Paediatric first-aid qualification, and Functional Skills in maths and English if required.The training will take place within the educational setting with no day release required to college and you will have regular reviews with your tutor every 4 - 6 weeks.
Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level before taking the end-point assessment.
Training Outcome:
Once completed the apprenticeship the can progress to a qualified early years educator and have key children
Employer Description:
Fazakerley Children's Centre accepts Children aged from 0 years to 5 years and is open Mon-Fri @ 0800-1800 with capacity to accept up to 65 Children.
Working Hours :
Flexible to work between 7.45am-6pm with bi-monthly staff meetings 6am-8pm. A typical shift for an apprentice is 9.00am-4.45pm with a 45-minute break.
