Apprentice Maintenance Engineer

 •           To carry out basic maintenance tasks on bespoke machinery in the knitting and covering departments

•            To follow company processes to carry out machinery oder changeovers

•            To develop the ability to check if machines are running correctly against product specifications

•            To carry out basic machinery maintenance checks

•            To support with maintenance QA documentation

•            To keep the maintenance workshop clean and tidy

•            To carry out manual handling duties including lifting, lowering and bending

 

 

Training:

·       Block release to Stephenson College, Coalville.

·       Functional skills if necessary.

·       On-the-job training.

·       Off-the-job training.

Training Outcome:

Upon completion of your apprenticeship there could be potential to be made permanent.
