Apprentice Gardener

• Assistance with garden maintenance – all manual aspects of
gardening, (except power tools unless trained), to a height of 2m
(where comfortable)
• Including pruning, weeding, tidying, training and supporting,
mowing, border prep. and planting.
• Contact and liaison with suppliers and contractors when
requested
• Updating of software where required.
• Recording tasks and completing training log where required
• Taking photographs / videos for social media
• Other tasks upon request



Training:

Upon completion of all elements of your Apprenticeship you will be awarded a Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship in Horticulture (Horticulture/Landscape operative). In addition, you will achieve:

Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work; The Safe Use of Pesticides (PA1) and Safe Use of Abrasive Wheels
(Landscape option)

Training Outcome:
Career in private garden maintenance Opportunities to continue to studying in horticulture including RHS qualifications Opportunities to work in public gardens and grounds maintenance

Whether you are looking for a complete garden makeover; advice and help to maximise a small area of your garden, or looking for regular maintenance in your garden we will be able to help. We are trained in horticulture and garden design with years of personal gardening and plant experience between us.

Working Hours :
Monday-Friday, shifts TBC.
