Business Administrator Apprentice

Apprentices will be shown all sales and operational aspects of the business from sales and customer service through to assisting in the transport department. Following a carefully planned schedule, the apprentices will spend several weeks in each department enabling them to develop a good understanding of the business.

Duties will vary depending on the department, but main duties will include the following:

Undertaking general administrative tasks such as accurate data inputting of customer information, scanning and electronic filing of emails and documents Assist the teams with providing a smooth and efficent relocation service to our private and commercial customers through accurate recording of information on the database and ensuring prompt customer communication throughout the move process Working with each of the departments to provide administrative support and assisting them with achieving departmental goals Engaging with customers, contractors and suppliers via email and telephone in a professional manner demonstrating exceptional customer service Assisting with processing and managing accurate records of all activity on customer accounts such as contract completion, payments and invoicing, storage inspections and warhouse records Assisting with pricing services in line with Company's pricing policy, producing accurate quotations for customers and liaising and booking third party services Assisting the operations team with generating job sheets and relevant paperwork for our road crews and assessing vehicle and labour requirements for each client's move, inputting data for inbound/outbound warehouse delivery movements Creating and managing collaborative and supportive working relationships

Training:
The candidate will complete an apprenticeship within the agreed
subject for the vacancy. This may include a BTEC
Diploma/Standard and End Point Assessment It may also include Functional Skills in maths and English. The apprentice will achieve a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard Full training will be given by our in house Learning and Development team, online with our LMS and face to face mentoring, coaching and training from various Private Client Services employees in each department

Training Outcome:
If a suitable vacancy is available and the apprenticeship is completed successfully roles in our Operations/Storage teams and Client Services teams would be available
