Business Admin Apprentice
Maintaining and monitoring the practice appointments system
Processing personal and telephone requests for appointments, visits and telephone consultations, and ensuring callers are directed to the appropriate healthcare professional
Processing and distributing incoming (and outgoing) mail
Taking messages and passing on information
Filing and retrieving paperwork
Processing repeat prescriptions in accordance with practice guidelines
Computer data entry/data allocation and collation; processing and recording information in accordance with practice procedures
Providing clerical assistance to practice staff as required from time to time, including word/data processing, filing, photocopying and scanning
Ordering, re-ordering and monitoring of stationery and other supplies
Keeping the reception area, notice-boards and leaflet dispensers tidy and free from obstructions and clutter
Training:
The Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard is designed to help you become an excellent contributor towards operational efficiencies within a business.
This will include interacting with both internal and external customers in a professional way, as well as applying skills learned throughout the programme within a business environment
The programme will include various workshops to aid with your development throughout, alongside mentoring, reflection logs, PDP and much more
Level 2 Functional Skills English and maths (if applicable)
Own in-house training
Training Outcome:
Can lead to a full-time position within the company upon completion
Progression into other areas such as management
