Level 2 Early Years Apprenticeship at First Class Nurseries, Bridgwater

As an apprentice you are encouraged to work as part of the nursery team to gain as much practical experience as possible throughout the duration of your course.  Your role will include the following:

Supporting qualified staff with daily routines in the nursery risk assessment, rotas and routines. Learning the skills of a nursery nurse, (on the job), working practically as part of the team. Responsibility for your own key group Learning how to provide high quality childcare to our children. Showing commitment to achieving the apprenticeship in the agreed timeframe. Working in partnership with your assessor. Understanding the importance of keeping everyone safe. Ensuring you attend all the training courses and staff meetings as required. Completing and submitting work to agreed timelines. Learning, understanding and implementing the First-Class Nurseries policies and procedures within the nursery. Understanding the values and implement in your daily routine with the children Following the EYFS when planning and caring for our children/key family. Supporting and promoting diversity and equality. Contributing to and completing children’s observations on Tapestry. Understanding and observing the rules of confidentiality Being flexible in hours and duties to meet the needs and requirements of the Nursery. Being a reliable member of the team.

Training:
Early years practitioner Level 2 Training schedule has yet to be agreed. Details will be made available at a later date.

Training Outcome:

Progression through the nursery and the opportunity to achieve a higher level of training.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, Shifts between 8.00am and 5.30pm
