Early Years Practitioner Apprentice
Learning and developing the skills to successfully observe, monitor and record children's learning and development
Plan and carry out activities to encourage children's progress
Communicate and engage with children to support their learning journey
Provide a safe and nurturing environment
Follow policies and procedures within the setting
Support the preparation of meals and snacks
Liaise with colleagues, parents / carers and other professionals
Be able to use your own initiative
Any other day to day tasks as requested
Training:
Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
Functional Skills maths (if required)
Functional Skills English (if required)
Training carried out within the working environment, online portfolio, coach visits once a month
Training Outcome:
Potential for full time employment on successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Walsall childcare Darlaston is situated in the heart of Darlaston, overlooking the beautiful St Laurence Church. The nursery is a 5-minute walk from the Town of Darlaston. It has bus links to Walsall, Wednesbury, West Bromwich and Wolverhampton, and is a short drive to Junction 9 of the M6. Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, with shifts to be confirmed between the hours of 7.30am - 6.30pm.
