Buying and Merchandising L4 Apprentice

Duties include:

Delivering product ranges (reading glasses, sunglasses, sun reading glasses, optical accessories and gifts) that meet Opticaid’s business KPI’s (sales and profit targets) and customer needs, whilst building the brand Apply an ethical and sustainable approach to the buying and merchandising role Develop market and industry knowledge to contribute to new product development/innovation Undertake competitor and trend analysis Undertake product range forecasting and develop merchandise plans Manage the critical path from range selection to delivery ensuring products meet both external and internal standards

Training:
The apprentice will receive full on the job training with the employer as well as 20%off the job training, they will have full support from SCL Education. The apprentice will gain a Level 4 qualification in Buying and Merchandising.

Training Outcome:
The apprentice will be able to progress to a Level 6 in Buying and merchandising once they have completed their Level 4.

Opticaid pride themselves in developing and selling their own brand of Remaldi eyewear which is now synonymous with great quality, design, and choice. Successful family run business with over 34 years experience. Ability to progress within the company for the successful candidate. This role interfaces with a number of other job roles and contributes significantly to the success of the buying/merchandise team.

Working Hours :
9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. 30-minutes for lunch. 37.5 hours per week.
