As an apprentice working for Auto Windscreens, you will be learning the day-to-day life as a windscreen technician, you will be working in one of our local fitting centres on customers vehicles, this will include:
Repairing chips in glass
The replacement of windscreens and body glass on a variety of vehicles
With cars becoming more and more technology-focused, you will also learn tasks like recalibration of sensors for features like automatic wipers, automatic braking and lane detection
Training:
The majority of your time would be spent working with a mentor in your fixed base location and monthly visits from an assessor
When you first join the company, you will visit our head office for your initial induction and training, you will also receive your company uniform while on your visit

Working with an Apprenticeship team this role will provide an effective and successful key account management service to support the College’s Apprenticeship provision.
The role is the first point of contact for employers and those interested in undertaking an apprenticeship programme, and will provide an effective customer service to meet the needs of these key College customers.
Responsible for a caseload of employers and learners in specific sectors, the role will be focused on ensuring effective recruitment, enrolment, on programme experience and successful completion. Working effectively with curriculum delivery staff this post will ensure that all programme elements, including funding, audit and Ofsted requirements, are adhered to, and apprenticeship achievement and funding targets are fully met.

Liaise with Curriculum Staff to produce an accurate costing of each Apprenticeship Standard for the Training agreement and record this in the Training Services Agreement
Discuss any Apprentice prior knowledge or experience with the Apprentice and Assessor if required as identified within the Apprentice Skill Scan
Liaise with Curriculum Managers to produce a % reduction for each of the knowledge skills and behaviours to incorporate in the Apprentice Skills scan

Stock levels are the lifeblood of retail. Too much, and you'll waste a lot. Too little, and our customers won't find what they need. Which is why we'll show you how to do inventory checks, and stay on top of stock levels and records
You'll learn how to operate equipment which could be mobile or fixed. It's not just about knowing what bit of kit to use, but how to operate it safely and pack it away when you're done

Earn while you Learn! You'll be completing your Level 2 Supply Chain Operative qualification whilst carrying out your daily duties
