**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse either, RMN or RNLD with a current active NMC Pin**
As a Nurse your key duties include:
Maintain high quality in all areas of practice including effective team working; using a range of different approaches including codes of conduct and practice, evidence-based practice, guidelines, legislation, protocols, procedures, policies, standards and systems
To improve services in the interests of the service users, carers and the organisation informed by current best practice guidance
Developing oneself using a variety of means and contributing to the development of others during ongoing work activities using through structured approaches (e.g. appraisal and development review, mentoring, professional/clinical supervision) and/or informal and ad hoc methods (such as enabling people to solve arising problems and appropriate delegation)
Maintaining and promoting the health, safety and security of everyone in the organisation or anyone who comes into contact with it either directly or through the actions of the organisation
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Strong team-working skills
A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £33,000 - £38,000 per annum DOE. We currently have permanent vacancies for both days and night shifts available. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:

Employer Description:We are a newly registered day nursery in Potters Bar, recently expanding from an Outstanding childminding setting of 5 years. We work across two main rooms but regularly practice ‘family grouping’ ratios and work together as a whole setting. We have space for a maximum of 30 children.
We are based in a scout hut near the Furzefield Leisure Centre and surround by play areas, a large field and woodland area. As we previously spent a lot of time out and about as childminders, we do try to access these local areas as much as possible. We share the space with the scout group but have sole use of the premises between 7am and 5pm Monday-Friday.
We are a pack away setting, the manager opens and sets up the setting for 7am opening and we work as a team to put all furniture, resources, and equipment away by 5pm each day. We also have access to two gardens, one of which is solely used by us and does not need to be packed away.
Our approach to early learning is child led, open ended and making use of natural/found/real life resources as much as possible. We have moved away from extensive, unnecessary paperwork and focus on our relationships with parents and open communication to support children’s development. We are a very friendly team and both the manager/owner and deputy manager started their careers as apprentices with the manager also completing a level 5 with Hertford Regional College so we are really keen to support new learners and help them progress to their full potential.Working Hours :Monday - Friday, 7.00am - 5.00pm with Wednesday - Day off.
