Our customer has a long-standing presence in high-performance electronics, with products designed and developed in the UK and sold around the world. As a result of major project wins combined with unprecedented demand, they are seeking a range of professional contractors.
Working in an experienced design team, you will provide support to a project enabling its transition into full production. The role offers flexibility to work on a hybrid basis.
Key Skills required – Contract Mechanical Design Engineer - Solidworks, Northamptonshire:
- Strong experience of using Solidworks for 3D design
- Experience of CFD/thermal analysis principles
- Experience of working in highly regulated industries such as aerospace/defence/military
- A background of designing ruggedized enclosures for electronics, using a variety of materials such as metals, plastics etc.
- Familiarity with Vita standards is of particular interest, however not essential to be considered.
This role will require a minimum of BPSS security clearance.

We are seeking professional and reliable LGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers to join our collections teams in Wellingborough area.
Successful candidates will be driving an LGV Class 2 Refuse vehicle and support the other members of the team collecting binned household waste from homes in the East Northamptonshire area.
With a 6 am start and an early pm finish, the hours are fixed at 37 per week. Double time is payable on Bank Holidays. You must be physically fit and able to work as part of a team. Good inter personal skills are important as from time to time you may well be interacting with the public.
Responsibilities
Safely operate LGV Class 2 Refuse vehicleEnsure all collections are completed accurately and on schedule, adhering to route plans and schedules.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly. .Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations.Communicate effectively with the depot regarding collection times and any unforeseen delays.Occasionally assist with loading when necessary, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.
