JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary:
The Process Technician will be responsible for production assigned duties. This includes but is not limited to batch and process manufacturing, compliance responsibilities, inventory control, bulk material handling, and packaging. There are three categories for a Process Technician; C, B, & A where A is most senior and technically proficient. In addition, Process Technician A will be required as needed to fill in for the duties of Production Supervisors. Process Technician A will have a full understanding and ability to perform assigned tasks as well as assist Level B & C as well as Utility with their assigned task.
Specific Requirements:
Works directly with Production Supervisors, other Process Technician, Utility, and others in the safe handling of the equipment and chemical intermediates in both storage and use in production.
Have good command and general working knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
Comprehension of manufacturing techniques and demonstrates safety compliances
Executes tasks and project responsibilities as outlined and assigned from the compliance calendar, production worklist, expected delivery report, and verbal / written instructions from Supervisors and Management.
Inventory Control through cycle counts, batch log & MUS record keeping, and filling or transferring documentation.
Assists in management and development of processes and safety programs
Manages inventory reduction per departmental inventory reduction strategy
Participates in all environmental and safety training as required by Federal, State, County, and Local regulations as well as company policies and demonstrates compliance through work practice.The above description identifies only the primary duties pertaining to this position. Background Requirements:
HS Diploma
Minimum of 2 years related experience.
Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs daily and occasionally life/move up to 75 lbs.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Field Technical Representative ensures proper application of Tremco CPG products in accordance with all company and industry guidelines by providing on-site application and problem resolution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide independent support for primary territory product lines.
Recommend products and solutions outside of primary product lines with occasional direction.
Ensure compliance with best practice standards for application or installation to protect against and mitigate potential warranty issues.
Provide site support by performing general and complex product applications/installations.
Perform substrate analysis using specialty equipment.
Keep up-to-date technically on practical procedures, specialized techniques to apply new knowledge within the field.
Provide field support by collecting data for project or product specific testing and interpreting results.
Recommend application and installation policies within technical literature.
Coordinate 3rd party testing certification/approvals.
Provide live and/or web-based training for internal staff and/or external customers. Create instructional hands-on demonstrations in a classroom, distributor locations, or job site settings showing application or installation of products. Exercise clear and confident communication of product lines and construction practices during presentation delivery.
Support qualified applicator program and/or authorized product installation program.
Use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether designs, applications, and installations comply with local codes, industry standards, and regulations.
Maintain records associated with job site visits and project completions.
Aids in new product review to ensure product feasibility and value engineering aspects.
Ensure customer satisfaction and works to resolve issues for optimal outcomes.
Provide feedback on customer recommendations and suggestions.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Construction, or similar preferred. and 2-4 years of construction or industry experience OR
Minimum High School Diploma or GED with 5 years of relevant construction or industry experience.
EXPERIENCE:
4-7 years Technical Service, Construction, Project Management, Field Management, or similar experience.
Hands-on experience with product application or installation.
Possess a general understanding of field-testing methods and techniques.
Ability to articulate a message in letter format.
Detailed in jobsite observations.
General Awareness of building code and requirements.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Building and construction knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or restoration of buildings or other structures.
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
Knowledge of chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations they undergo. This includes chemistry of current and future products and systems.
Customer Service skills, including needs assessments and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
High level of attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage timelines, meet deadlines, and manage project scope.

Summary:
Join our Research & Development team and play a hands-on role in developing and improving corrosion-resistant coatings, linings, and fireproofing products. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced lab professionals to support day-to-day operations, contribute to product development, and help ensure quality and performance standards are met.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of at least one year of college-level chemistry coursework or 1-3 years of relevant laboratory experience preferred.
Must pass a Jaeger Eye Test.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Exposure to various chemicals, including but not limited to amines, polyamides, isocyanates, epoxies, alkyds, acrylics, and certain inorganic compounds.
Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times.
Must be able to pass an annual respirator medical evaluation and pulmonary function test in accordance with OSHA regulations.

As a Maintenance Technician at DAP's Pacific Plant, you will be a member of the plant Maintenance team responsible for monitoring aerosol filling operations to ensure standards for quality and productivity are met.
Responsibilities:
• Start-up, monitor, perform major adjustments and shut down fill line equipment. Open and close building, making sure building is secure. Work without supervisor or lead tech. Start up equipment, air compressor, pumps, line, labeler. Run production line after set up and make any major or minor repairs necessary. Unloading material from trucks, mix a batch of material if needed- Building maintenance.
• Assist aerosol machine associates and temporary personnel involved in the operation of aerosol equipment. Assist in training of new technicians, installing new equipment, work with aerosol machine associates and answer any questions concerning adjustments on equipment.
• Perform and record results of inspections of label applications, capping and pressure seals, can weights.
• Stage consumable supplies such as labels, glue, straws, cans and caps to ensure continuous flow of filling operations.
• Perform line conversions to prepare new products for filling operations.
• Ensure proper use of raw materials, finished goods, scrap and rejects. Complete and submit requisitions to request or return materials to stock. Check in all materials according to the work order.
• Dispose of scrap cans, spills or ruptured cans, spraying out contents of scrap cans and cleaning leaked product from machinery, floors, walls, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of machines and work area.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and rebuild equipment (PM). Diagnose problems, work with engineers, supervisors, co-workers to get the problem solved. Maintains PM's, rebuild gas pumps, material pumps, boosters, gas boosters, etc. Operate milling machines, drill presses, tools and measuring tools.
• Develop ways to increase the effectiveness of machines and equipment. Install new piping, improve designs of machines and equipment.
Requirements:
• Education: Equivalent to a basic high school education and formal training in a technical field with certificate of completion.
• Experience: One year of experience in a similar or related position.
