My client is a well-established regional law firm and are looking for a Residential Conveyancer to join their team in theri office in Kendal.
The ideal candidate will be at least 2 yrs PQE / experienced of handling a full caseload of conveyancing matters through to completion, who has a real passion for residential property to join the busy team. Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to deliver an outstanding client service as this role involves regular contact with clients and agents.
Typical duties include:
- To effectively handle a busy caseload of a wide range of property transactions including sales and Purchase, Leasehold and Freehold transactions
- Highly organised and efficient
- Excellent team work ethos
- To meet client expectations through timely acknowledgement of and progression of client calls and queries
- To understand and contribute to the teams objectives
Salary will be competitive dependent on experience ranging from £28,000-£38,000+ bonus, hybrid working model (2/3) and a host of other staff benefits and schemes.

We are looking for a Support Worker to join my clients children’s residential home in Kendal, Cumbria.
About the team
The team works in line with a therapeutic approach to ensure the appropriate care and welfare of all children and young people is provided to create a home environment which exceeds their needs. The team ensures the children and young people are supported both day and night, averaging 1 sleep in shifts per week. The team are highly experienced in working with vulnerable young children aged 6-12, who have experienced trauma: whether that be neglect, emotional abuse, sexual abuse etc.
About You
A level 3 diploma in residential care is preferable however not essential to be considered for this role.
A full driving licence is needed for this position.
Experience within residential homes working with children who display challenging behaviours
Minimum of a year working within this environment is preferable.

Successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check.

You will provide support across two services in Workington and another service in Cumbria, spending 3 days per week at the closest service and 2 days at the other, or working part-time at either service. Both offer community-based residential care for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism

As the Lead Psychologist your key responsibilities include:
Participating in the assessment of referrals, and to provide initial assessment service users referred to the service
Undertaking high quality direct (assessment & therapeutic) and indirect (consultative, advisory, and evaluative) specialist psychological interventions and making autonomous clinical decisions
Working therapeutically with service users with complex presentations, undertake the assessments using a broad range of structured psychometric and semi structured clinical methods
Formulating and implementing plans of specialist psychological treatment or management of patients’ mental health needs based on a multi-factorial psychological understanding and current evidence based best practise
Being professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of clinical work and care
Maintaining high standards of care in all areas of practice and in accordance the HCPC Code of Conduct, professional guidelines and Company Policies and Procedures
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
An approved supervisor within the guidelines of the BPS and relevant division
Have understanding of evidence-based psychological practice
Experience of applying psychological knowledge to a Learning Disabilities and Autism setting
Experienced working with clients with cognitive deficits
Previous experience of conducting research and project working
