An ITP Aero UK apprentice will undertake training in the operation of a variety of machining disciplines, including but not limited to:
Conventional and CNC milling and turning
Electro-discharge machining (EDM)
Grinding and laser drilling
In addition, the apprentice will gain an understanding of the importance of safety and quality compliance in a manufacturing workplace, interpretation of engineering drawing and specifications to an aerospace standard and continuous improvement.Training:Machining Technician Level 3.
This programme is delivered via a day release delivery model which means that one day per week, your attendance is required at our engineering campus (NG17). You will learn to read and understand engineering drawings, measure, mark out dimensions, form material using hand tools and machines, assemble using rivets, bolts and fittings, use a variety of hammers mallets to correct distortion, use polish and grinding tools to achieve required material finish.You will learn Health and Safety and quality management.You will learn the procedures involved with Thermal Joining Processes (TIG, EBW, Laser) both manual and automated, using a range of appropriate techniques and perform these as required by the specific Aerospace Specifications.Training:You will experience a blended learning model.

System Configuration & Troubleshooting: Help configure CCTV systems, ensuring integration with existing IT infrastructure. Troubleshoot technical issues related to CCTV equipment, software, and networking.
Maintenance & Support: Provide routine maintenance and support for CCTV systems, including checking system health, conducting software updates, and troubleshooting issues to ensure uninterrupted service.
Network Integration: Assist in connecting CCTV systems to IT networks, ensuring smooth data transmission and storage. Learn to manage IP cameras, NVRs, and other related network equipment.
Data Security & Privacy: Ensure that all CCTV systems comply with data protection regulations and internal security protocols. Assist in securing CCTV data to prevent unauthorised access.
