We are seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Sales & Service Representative to drive business growth and provide outstanding customer support throughout our Mid-Atlantic territory.
Position Summary
As a Technical Sales & Service Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining and growing existing customer accounts, and providing technical support to customers within your assigned territory. You will serve as the primary representative of FinishWorks and play a critical role in strengthening customer relationships while identifying new opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute territory growth plans.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, and technical consultations.
Partner with customers to understand coating challenges and recommend solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and industry developments.
Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular forecasting updates.
Support product trials, troubleshooting, and application evaluations.
Represent FinishWorks professionally at customer locations and industry events.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Chemistry, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in industrial sales, technical sales, coatings, manufacturing, chemicals, or related industries.
Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
Ability to communicate technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.

Pre-opening and operations

People and team building

Own the Netherlands P&L: revenue, labour, occupancy, COGS, marketing, and other costs.Set and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial targets for the country.Drive revenue through memberships, class packs, corporate partnerships, and local initiatives.Work with marketing/brand to adapt global campaigns to the Dutch market and develop local activations.Analyse performance data and adjust pricing, programming, and operations to maximise profitability.
Brand and stakeholder management
Represent the brand with landlords, partners, local authorities, and the media.Build relationships with key local stakeholders, including fitness communities, corporates, and influencers.Ensure the brand’s positioning, tone, and visual identity are consistently applied across all touchpoints.Provide regular updates to the founder/leadership team on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will have:
