We are looking for a highly skilled Paint Sprayer to join a leading Bodyshop in the Hinckley area.
Key role and responsibilities as a Paint Sprayer:
- Spray paint vehicles
- Examine vehicles to identify additional work for repair
- Prep, Filler and polish
- Mix paint to ensure the perfect match
- Quality check
Minimum requirements for a Paint Sprayer:
- Ideally you will be an experienced Paint Sprayer with a settled career history in a Bodyshop environment and be able to demonstrate a hands on and focus-driven approach
- The candidate will be an enthusiastic/ driven individual that is also able to deliver high-quality work at all times
- This position requires somebody with good attention to detail and also works to high standards at all times

The Role
Use advanced Excel to evaluate supplier performance, pricing, and product range opportunities.

Deliver supplier performance reviews, uncover cost savings, and improve quality/service.

The Candidate
Strong data-driven skills with high-level Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, data modelling, dashboards).
Experience working with procurement, purchasing, or supply chain data.
Industry background in automotive parts, industrial distribution, commercial vehicle, off-highway, agricultural machinery, or other distribution-based sectors (e.g. builders/plumber’s merchants).
Commercially aware with excellent communication and presentation skills.
ERP / procurement systems experience desirable.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled at using data to support procurement strategies.

You will start on manual machines (milling, turning, grinding, fitting (bench) and vertical boring. You will spend time in the Engineering Department to look how parts are engineered, before being launched to the manufacturing side of the business
You will then progress onto CNC machines as you gain more knowledge and experience
The normal plan would be to spend 3-months in each section shadowing skilled Operators/Trainers to gain knowledge and experience
