Optical Practice Manager – The Role

Tests 5-6 times a week

Relocated in 2022 and has seen steady growth since
Managing a team of 3-4 people
Hands on in all areas of the practice
Focus on the customer experience
Assist in growing and developing the business
Liaising with the Directors to achieve targets and implement new strategies
Assisting with frame buying
Team rotas
Full time – 5 days a week including Saturdays
Working hours between 9am to 5.30pm (5pm on a Sat)
No Sundays or Bank Holidays
Salary between £25,000 to £34,000 including bonus (some of which is guaranteed)
20 days holiday, plus bank holidays and birthday

Optical Practice Manager – Requirements
Ideally a qualified Dispensing Optician
Previous management or supervisory experience would be an advantage
Experienced non qualified managers will also be considered

Provide quality daycare for children aged 0–8 years, respecting their abilities, ethnic, cultural, and religious backgrounds.
Promote a sense of identity and self-worth in each child by being sensitive to their ethnic, cultural, and religious backgrounds, as outlined in the equality and diversity policy.
Create a varied and stimulating program of activities to encourage children’s development, completing weekly planning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
