Are you ready to take your optical career to the next level in paradise?
Zest Optical is working alongside an exceptional independent optical group to recruit a qualified Dispensing Optician for a unique opportunity in the Cayman Islands.

This could be an incredible move for a senior Dispensing Optician who is ready for more responsibility and would love the opportunity to develop their career while enjoying a completely different way of life.
The Opportunity
Working closely with the Director, you'll play an important role across two successful practices, combining hands-on dispensing with leadership and operational responsibilities.
The role will include:
Delivering a premium dispensing and eyewear experience
Working with high-quality lenses and an exciting collection of independent and luxury eyewear
Supporting the day-to-day running and performance of both practices
Helping to maintain consistently high standards of customer care and service
Supporting, developing and motivating the wider team
Building long-term relationships within a close-knit, community-driven environment
Working closely with the Director on the continued development of the business

You'll ideally:
Be a qualified Dispensing Optician
Have strong technical dispensing and eyewear knowledge
Be confident working within a premium, customer-focused environment
Have experience supporting or leading a team, or the ambition to move into a more senior role
Be commercially aware and comfortable taking responsibility
Have the personality and communication skills to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
Be genuinely excited by the prospect of relocating and building a life in the Cayman Islands
What's On Offer
Salary equivalent to circa £45,000 – £55,000
Tax-free earnings
A senior position within an established and growing optical group
Genuine involvement in the running and development of two successful practices
Opportunity to progress beyond a traditional Dispensing Optician position
Full support with relocation and adjusting to life on the island
The opportunity to combine career progression with an exceptional lifestyle
The Director originally relocated from the UK himself, so understands first-hand the practicalities and challenges involved in making an international move and can offer genuine support throughout the process.
Life in the Cayman Islands
Living and working in the Cayman Islands offers a lifestyle that's difficult to replicate in the UK.
You'll have world-famous beaches such as Seven Mile Beach on your doorstep, year-round warm weather and access to some of the best diving and water sports in the world.
There's a large international community, including expats from the UK, Ireland, South Africa, the US and beyond, alongside a close-knit local community where building genuine relationships is a big part of everyday life.
Outside work, you can make the most of an outdoor lifestyle encompassing everything from paddleboarding and diving to cycling, boating and simply enjoying the Caribbean climate.
With relatively short flights to destinations including Miami, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic, it's also an incredible base from which to explore the wider Caribbean and Americas.
