JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary:
Responsible for blending and mixing of various pigments, resins, hardeners, and other raw material additives to produce acceptable in-process batches per approved batch instruction sheets with a minimal number of corrections.
Essential Functions:
Stages and prepares all raw materials associated with production batches
Maintains orderliness and cleanliness in batch making area and proper storage of batch area inventories
Communicates low levels of raw materials to the Plant Supervisor
Develops a thorough knowledge of raw material storage tanks, valving and piping, their contents, actuation, and directions of flow
Maintains a good working relationship with Quality Control
Must be capable of logical structuring of the batch making process, particularly optimization of mixer usage and efficiency
Reports on all spills and leaks, equipment malfunction, safety hazards, accidents, near-miss accidents, and material shortages immediately to the production supervisor
Acknowledges and understands the hazards and safety precautions required for working with inorganic metal-based powdered pigments and modifies work and hygiene practices accordingly.
Preferred Requirements:
Some college level chemistry
Sector-specific batching/manufacturing experience
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years prior related experience or 1 years' experience as a production batchmaker.
Ability to take initiative in completing assigned work and projects.
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
Strong communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
Must pass standard eye exam (corrected or uncorrected) and must pass standard color-tone testing
Must be capable of wearing Company standard respirators as qualified by a fit test performed by an authorized agency
Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Stooping, bending, squatting up to 50% of the time
Standing and walking up to 90% of the time.
This position requires consistent wearing of safety glasses, gloves, long pants, and closed-toe shoes; with additional specific PPE depending on the chemicals or materials handled, which could include respirators, hearing protection, or specialized gloves for hazardous substances.

The pay range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $21.00/hour and $23.00/hour. The range is an estimate based on potential employee qualification operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Primarily responsible for lab testing and field trials for new product development, field training of TM's and installers on product installations and system set up and maintenance. Also acts as a technical liaison for field personnel and various internal departments.
Essential Functions
Conducts on-going market research for Product Managers and marketing services. Performs laboratory, forensic analysis for field failures and for the purpose of making product recommendations. Provides product and application training for sales engineers and field sales managers as required. Provides field training and project management for foreign affiliates and for large or complex projects. Assists in new product development including lab work, field trials, commercial scale-up and field follow-up. Special order custom product needs and provides approval for both experimental and discontinued products. Enters new product information (formula, in-process, updates, price and cost) into system. Maintains technical literature and creates and edits various technical and promotional publications (i.e., Tech Lines, product Corners, Product Information Guide, Engineering Details). Provides outside sales support as well as handles incoming calls and lead qualification
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Engineering Ability to proactively identify opportunities and quickly implement solutions. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication, presentation, organization and planning skills. Must be very flexible and able to work in a self-directed, rapidly changing environment. Requires travel within company plants, distribution facilities and other North American locations. Must possess reliable transportation. Valid Drivers' License issued by state of residence and in good standing.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This position requires minimal physical activity but does require computer usage for an extended period - up to 8 hours. No unusual environmental, lifting or exertion requirements are associated with this position. This position requires wearing a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots, high-visibility vest, and depending on the task, may also require ear protection, respirators, safety harnesses, and specialized protective clothing, while on the worksite.

Technical Systems Management
Oversee Maintenance, repair, and upgrade of all venue technical systems, including rigging, lighting, audio, video, digital screens, and power distribution infrastructure.Coordinate regular testing, documentation, and preventive maintenance programs to ensure reliability and compliance.Oversee in-house AV systems supporting small boardrooms, press conferences, and meeting spaces, including setup, troubleshooting, and vendor support.
Event Advancement & Execution
Serve as the primary technical production liaison for promoters, tour managers, resident tenants, and event producers.Advance all technical details, ensuring each event’s requirements are met efficiently and within venue capabilities.Develop comprehensive production schedules, crew calls, and technical documentation for all events.Provide on-site leadership during high-profile events, ensuring smooth coordination across departments.Maintain strong working relationships with preferred production vendors and suppliers for rigging, staging, lighting, sound, and video.Negotiate service agreements and pricing to ensure cost-effective, high-quality outcomes.Foster positive relationships with national and international concert promoters, touring productions, and event organizers to reinforce PNE’s reputation as a premier venue destination.Ensure both internal and external events have the proper sound management plans in place for their events and are compliant to the city sound bylaw. For some indoor and outdoor events the position will required to be onsite to manage sound levels with the promoter and the community relations team.
Financial Management
Prepare and present accurate technical production cost estimates for concerts, corporate events, and internal projects.Track, reconcile, and report on event technical production budgets and labor costs.Contribute to the development of annual department budgets and long-term capital investment planning for technical production systems.Partner with the Sales. Events, Operations, and Guest Experience teams to ensure cohesive event delivery.Participate in pre-event planning and post-event debriefs to align production logistics with client expectations.Maintain clear communication with touring personnel, management, and staff to resolve technical and logistical challenges proactively.
What else?
Bachelor’s degree in Technical Theatre, Event Production, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum of 10 years in live event or venue production, including at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing multi-venue or arena-scale operations or touring management.Demonstrated experience managing concerts, sporting events, exhibitions, and large public gatherings.Proven experience working with IATSE or similar stagehand unions.Strong technical expertise in audio, lighting, video, rigging, and power systems.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Excellent budgeting, estimating, and financial management abilities.Proficiency in production and venue management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Vectorworks, VenueOps, Microsoft Office).Ability to multitask and manage high-pressure environments with professionalism and calm.Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.Successful candidates must undergo a Criminal Record Check.

What will you do?
In your role as Assistant Manager, Guest Experience, you will work with the Manager and team of seasonal Assistant managers to set the tone for employee development and all guest facing interactions on the PNE site, including: Playland, Summer Fair and Fright Nights, with potential to support the Guest Experience team at Year Round Events.
Playland Operations
Support in pre-season set up, park readiness, administration requirements, employee onboarding and team training.
Work with your fellow assistant managers to support daily operations of the Guest Experience team, managing day to day Playland operations of Guest Experience team in the capacity of Manager on Duty and onsite management support as scheduled. This is an events based position and hours of work vary accordingly (evenings/ weekends and early mornings).
Work closely the Guest Experience management team to provide direction, feedback, mentorship and employee growth to a team of approximately 80 seasonal attendants and supervisors.
With your fellow assistant managers, support training, scheduling, payroll, progressive discipline and ongoing performance reviews and coaching of Guest Experience team members.
Support Standard Operating protocols to heighten staff awareness of Playland's Guest Experience policies and procedures.
Support team with guest ticket sales and resolution, conflict resolution, gift card sales, BBQ and birthday party hosting, and more!
First level of technical support: computers, printers, and various POS systems
Work closely with management to establish protocols and scripting for responses to Guest inquiries (through but not limited to the following channels: reception, e-mail, phone calls and on-site interactions).
Support existing and creation of standard operating procedures for site-wide in-bound Guest inquiries and coordinate/manage all responses.
Assisting with guest resolution conversations and finding appropriate solutions that benefit both the guest and the PNE
Perform other duties as required.
Fair & Festival Operations
Assist with set up, readiness, administration requirements, employee onboarding and team training in advance of annual summer fair.

What else?
Ability to work extended hours (including late nights and/ or early mornings), evenings and most weekends required; this position is a full-time, event based position, and hours of work vary accordingly, shifts during Playland and Fright Nights average 8.5hrs/day with potential for longer days required throughout the season.
Full availability for all 15 operational days of the annual summer fair, working minimum of 10hrs/day during Fair is required.
Must be comfortable leading a large team of staff (approximately 30-60 staff/day) in an people-centric, high capacity, environment.
Must have a strong background with guest experience delivery and be comfortable communicating with guests both in person, via e-mail, and over the phone.
2-5 years of progressively responsible experience in a leadership capacity; preferably as an Assistant Manager or senior supervisor, supervising and providing direction to a large team (temporary, part time, seasonal, etc.).
Previous experience working in the hospitality, tourism or sports industries is preferred.
Diploma, Certificate, or degree in a relevant discipline, an equivalent combination of education & experience, or current enrollment in a relevant program is an asset.
Ability to foster collaborative and effective working relationships with all staff on-site.
Experience developing standardized manuals and operating procedures.
Strong planning, organizational, and administrative skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, supervisory, leadership and staff development.
Ability to function independently and under pressure, and ability to manage various projects at the same time.
Knowledge of the event industry is considered an asset.
Background working within a unionized environment is considered an asset.
