The Process Engineer provides engineering support to the assigned program and/or area to ensure the product is processed in accordance with customer and division quality requirements while maintaining production flow. Charged with developing and maintaining systems to assure that all products manufactured by the plant meet customer specifications and achieve superior and reliability levels. The resident expert regarding process technology. Responsible for investigating and implementing new process technology at the plant. The Process Engineer is responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and optimizing the plant. This position is responsible for influencing the development of preventative maintenance programs at the facility and will have a significant role in capital improvement plans while assisting in work area design, plant layout, visual control and metric implementation, material flow, process tracking, and communication. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Engineer's role is viewed as an extension of management. Responsibilities are broad and include safety, product quality, process control, productivity improvement, and development of a LEAN culture. The Engineer is expected to spend a significant amount of time on the floor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safety Assume a leadership position at the facility in partnership with the shift supervisors. Activities include resolution and communication regarding safety issues. Execute on scheduled PHA's and JSA's. Proactively monitor area and remediate potential safety issues. Use DAKOTA software as a tool for compliance and environmental, health and safety. Use the tool to report incidents, near misses, and non-conformances.
LEAN Culture Develop and execute upon "standard work" activities. Assume responsibility for assigned activities on the Engineering Tier and other accountability boards. Conduct "GEMBA Walks" daily. Use walks as the primary means of education and communication of expectations. Improve productivity through elimination of non-value-added activities. Apply Engineering principles and methodologies to Improve productivity and eliminate waste.
Product Quality Work to maximize equipment efficiency and quality for output. Member of the facility QIC. Ensure identification of root cause and subsequent prevention of future customer complaints. Assist in the training of operators with a focus on quality critical product specifications and process parameters. Capable of equipment troubleshooting and process design.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree from four or 5-year college or university. B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Controls Engineering.
EXPERIENCE:
Six months to one year related experience and/or training. Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical or Controls Engineering from an ABET Accredited university. Relevant experience from internship is acceptable for experience. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of process and facility-related equipment. Equipment inspection includes preventative maintenance (PM) and associated documentation.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The primary function of a Tremco Project & Compatibility Lab Technician is to manage internal testing procedures that are used to establish a compatibility matrix for all Tremco products that are subject to contact in typical construction applications. The P&C Lab Technician will perform Project Testing and support testing functions for Decks, Below Grade Waterproofing, Sealants and Air Barriers. These test functions include Product Comparison, Product Compatibly, ASTM Testing (potential addendums to existing standard method requirements). The P&C Lab Technician will be required to communicate results in an organized manner and manage the flow of data through the proper channels to the proper recipients in a timely fashion
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Laboratory: 75% of time will be spent in the laboratory in constructing test samples, documenting performance and maintaining a clean working environment. Must be familiar with a laboratory setting and safety and be able to: Test to ASTM C 1248, ASTM C 1247, ASTM C 1193, ASTM C 1135, ASTM C 1087, ASTM 794, ASTM C 793, ASTM C 719, ASTM C 679, ASTM C 679, ASTM C 661, ASTM C 639 and ASTM C 510 standard test methods. Prepare test substrates for testing using cutting equipment including band saw, table saw and wet saw. Document observations and results of standard testing in detailed test reports. Maintain organization of test articles during sample preparation, conditioning, testing and storage. Maintain cleanliness of laboratory environment and enforce laboratory hygiene plan. Use of material testing equipment including microscope and Instron 5565. Other duties as assigned. Customer Support (External and Internal): Provide timely response on requests from internal and external customers as it relates to compatibility testing and posting of results in the database. Develop a test schedule to provide accurate turnaround time estimates. Maintain quick and accurate written and verbal responses to technical and non-technical questions. Work with minimal dependence. Display excellent problem solving & communication skills. Provide general Technical Service phone support. Travel on a limited basis to job sites and for product application support training. Possess a team player attitude. Be self-motivated and dedicated to quality work. Other duties as assigned.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Engineering, Facilities and Maintenance Manager is responsible for directing all engineering activities and for maintaining and upgrading the facilities and production equipment. In addition, this position is responsible for maintaining/ advancing of a viable and visual Preventative Maintenance Program.at the facility and identifying capital requirements for the annual capital plan. Responsibilities also include developing and assisting in value stream design and implementation of lean principles and tools within the manufacturing environment. Recruit departmental employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence. Analyze annual site utility expenditure and develop plans to optimize plant efficiency to reduce costs (ISO 14001). Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services. Integrate the plant PHA initiative with the appropriate capital projects. Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and Interface with leadership, operators, and maintenance to develop needed TPM programs.
