Summary:
Euclid Chemical is seeking a Quality Control Technician to oversee material testing for concrete repair products in Euclid Chemical's Powder Department. This role includes evaluating product conformity, ensuring compliance with standards, and maintaining a professional image when interacting with customers, management, sales, and internal teams.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform routine batch-specific quality control tests; including slump, flow, set time, & compressive strength
Responsible for cleaning, calibrating, and maintaining QC equipment
Maintain good housekeeping in the lab and project a clean quality image
Document test results accurately and maintain QC logs and batch records in compliance with internal and external standards
Work with a team to perform root-cause-analysis and develop corrective actions
Work with Plant R&D on any quality issues identified
Assist with the creation, distribution, and processing of department operation documents
Executes ISO 9001 requirements within areas of responsibility
Perform MS-168 functions within areas of responsibility
Perform all duties in accordance with Health and Safety Protocols and company policies.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience
Concrete testing experience is a plus
IT Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages
Knowledge of SAP is a plus
Other Requirements:
Must be available to work the following shift : 6am-2:30pm and flexible to work overtime & other shifts as determined by the needs of the business- including longer shifts and weekends
Physical requirements: The employee must frequently lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance. Must be capable of sitting, standing, lifting and walking for extended periods of time. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The operator will organize the area, collect materials such as pails, cans, cartridges or films, and set up the filling and packaging equipment. Production Order card must be read and followed exactly as to correct packaging including labeling of cans and cases, etc. Operator is responsible to report correct counts of production for the shift and report downtime information.

Position Summary
The Roofing Operator can work in our Felt Department or in our Roofing Department at our Cleveland, Ohio Plant. To start, this is a temporary position which can lead to a regular position after successfully completing a probationary period. Monitor production outcomes and implement appropriate timely actions for improvement to meet daily production quality and quantity goals.
Lead regular tier meetings and participate in Gemba walks with production staff. Post constraints, identify waste, and drive resolutions in a timely manner.
Review and update documentation for Operator Standard Work and drive compliance to expected values and outcomes.
Utilize problem solving techniques and teamwork building strategies to meet or exceed the facility key operating statistics.
Facilitate workflow management, workforce scheduling, and team members' placement to ensure the facility and company goals are successfully met or exceeded.
Lead and conduct lean process audits, share results, identify alternatives, implement improvements, communicate audit results, monitor success and report out on outcomes.
Adhere to company policies, standard work, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Maintenance Manager provides project management leadership along with equipment and facility maintenance and improvements to the plant. This position is a vital part of the plant operations leadership team. They lead the maintenance and engineering teams in all unplanned and preventive maintenance activities at the plant. They provide general departmental planning, scheduling, parts/supplies acquisition, and administration of maintenance programs. The position ensures that scheduled facility and process maintenance and repairs are completed, accurately and timely.

Develops the annual plant CapEx plan. Ensures the site capital plan fully supports the facility plan objectives
Delivers disciplined project management
Participates in plant ECR process for equipment and process related changes
Supports plant ISO document management
Site emergency response team member
Provides preventive and unplanned maintenance throughout the plan
Leads the Maintenance and Engineering Teams and holds each employee accountable
Works within computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to plan, assign, and close work orders, as required
Schedules maintenance technicians to provide required manpower during production or downtime
Places orders for equipment/supplies in SAP
Troubleshoots, plans, modifies, and repairs/rebuilds all types of plant equipment
Performs basic electrical troubleshooting, repair, and construction, as required
Works in accordance with OSHA and Tremco safety policies and procedures
Enters MRO receipts in SAP system, maintains parts inventory/shop/equipment files/records
Directs work of other maintenance personnel and others, as required (contractors, operators, etc.)
Research equipment/facility needs as appropriate through manuals, files, internet, etc.
Works in accordance with OSHA and Tremco safety rules, policies, procedures
Performs other job duties, as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree from four or 5-year college or university, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
7 years related experience and/or training managing maintenance teams and working in manufacturing environments
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with all levels of the plant organization (senior management, plant leadership team, maintenance staff, unionized hourly production employees)
Knowledge of modern control systems (PLC's, AC/DC Drives, etc.)
Capital equipment specification/installation
Creation of standard work instructions/SOP's
Experience with maintenance management systems (PM's, work orders)
Demonstrated team leadership skills
