Production Support Engineer - Bicester
We are seeking a Production Support Engineer to be responsible for ensuring optimal OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), through effective preventative maintenance and corrective actions to reduce equipment downtime, in line with expectations of Operations. The Production Support Engineer will also provide engineering support to Operations and ensure continuous improvement.
Essential experience:
Detailed knowledge of repair fault finding and minor design.
Previously worked in a high-precision electronics manufacturing environment supporting and repairing equipment and systems.
Computer literate; with experience of using Microsoft windows software to complete work done reports and monitor equipment usage (i.e. word, excel etc).
Familiar with making improvements to equipment / systems and services to improve utilisation and operational/production productivity and throughput.
Familiar of the creation and implementation of lean working processes.
Able to demonstrate a structured approach to problem-solving, root-cause analysis.
Ability to construct an FMEA would be highly desirable
Exposure to ERP systems.
Able to track and monitor equipment utilisation and reliability to identify preventative maintenance measures to improve reliability and up-time.

Demonstrate successful outcomes on working on a project either autonomously or as part of a larger team.

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to be responsible for monitoring, testing, and reporting the quality of assembled products as well as the inspection of purchased materials, components, and assemblies to ensure the company maintain high levels of service and delivery of product to customers across the globe, and maintain certification to applicable standards including, but not limited to ISO9001.
You will be responsible for:
Inspection of purchased materials, components, and assemblies to ensure a high First Time Pass Yield (FTPY) to maximise capacity and deliver high quality service and delivery of product
Resolving supplier quality issues and providing technical support during supplier visits and audits.
Support new supplier and new product introduction and manage product and component change activities externally and internally.
Define assessment methods, testing, and acceptance criteria for purchased materials, components, and assemblies.
Record and analyse results and implement appropriate containment, corrective, and preventive actions.
You will have experience of:
Working and testing electronic assemblies, being able to read circuit diagrams. Inbound quality testing of PCBs using test jigs.
Working with relevant stakeholders to support and lead audits against applicable standard (including ISO9001) requirements.
Work with external bodies to support on-going certification to both new and current standards and ensure legal compliance.
