Beyond hands-on development, you'll bring a strong DevOps mindset, contributing to the continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines, containerisation and deployment processes. Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift and cloud hosting environments will be particularly valuable, as you'll work across development and operations to improve application stability, security and performance.
The ideal candidate will bring commercial Java backend development experience, with strong knowledge of Jakarta EE, Quarkus, PostgreSQL and SQL. You'll have experience developing complex business logic, interfaces and automated tests, alongside practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, modern development tools and cloud infrastructure. Familiarity with GitLab, Jira, Confluence and SonarQube will also be beneficial. A recognised qualification in Computer Science or equivalent experience is expected, alongside German language skills at B2 level or above, both written and spoken.
