Job Title: Facilities Technician
Department: Facilities
Reports To: Corporate Facilities Manager
The Corporate Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, functional, and professional corporate workplace. This position performs routine building maintenance, responds to facility service requests, coordinates with vendors and contractors, and supports day-to-day facility operations.
The Facilities Technician works closely with Facilities Management, employees, contractors, and service providers to ensure corporate buildings, equipment, and workspaces operate efficiently and meet company standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:
Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following:
Building & Facility Maintenance
Perform routine inspections of corporate facilities, identifying maintenance, safety, and repair needs.
Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall, furniture, and general building repairs.
Maintain doors, locks, hardware, ceilings, flooring, lighting, and other building components.
Replace lamps, filters, batteries, and other routine maintenance items.
Assist with preventive maintenance programs and scheduled facility inspections.
Respond promptly to work orders, maintenance requests, and facility-related emergencies.
Facility Operations
Maintain common areas, conference rooms, offices, kitchens, restrooms, storage areas, and other workplace spaces.
Assist with office moves, furniture installation, workstation changes, and space reconfigurations.
Support setup and breakdown of corporate meetings, events, and special functions.
Maintain facility supplies, tools, equipment, and inventory.
Monitor building conditions and report deficiencies to Facilities Management.
Vendor & Contractor Support
Coordinate access and provide support to outside contractors and service providers.
Monitor contractor work to ensure services are completed safely and according to company requirements.
Assist with obtaining quotes and scheduling maintenance services when requested.
Verify completion of vendor work and communicate outstanding issues to Facilities Management.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable building requirements.
Conduct routine inspections for potential safety hazards.
Report unsafe conditions and take appropriate corrective action when authorized.
Assist with emergency preparedness, fire/life-safety activities, evacuation procedures, and emergency response.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, work orders, and facility activities.
Customer Service
Provide professional and responsive service to employees and visitors.
Communicate clearly regarding maintenance issues, service requests, and expected completion times.
Maintain a professional appearance and positive customer-service attitude.
Protect confidential information and respect employees' workspaces and privacy.
QUALFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in commercial, corporate, industrial, or building maintenance preferred.
Working knowledge of general building maintenance and repair.
Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
Ability to safely use common hand and power tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple requests.
Ability to work effectively with employees, vendors, contractors, and management.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment as required.
Ability to climb ladders and work from elevated areas when necessary.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and work in various building environments.
Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment.
May occasionally require work outside normal business hours for emergencies or special projects.

Salary target range: $32 - $35/hr, bonus eligible

As our Quality Control Technician you will assure product quality by preparing samples, conducting quality control inspection and testing of components, dispersions, and finished goods, determining adjustments for batches that do not conform to requirements, documenting inspections, and insuring calibration of testing equipment.

Here's what you can expect every day:
Perform testing of production batches, incoming raw materials, finished goods, and components to determine conformance to specifications.
Judge as "fit for release" production batches, incoming raw materials, finished goods, and components that are in conformance to all specifications and visually acceptable.
Determine and communicate batch adjustments for any batches that do not conform to requirements, utilizing batch history, adjustment guidelines, and consultation with the QC Manager.
Perform validation testing during filling to insure integrity of finished goods, including labeling, packaging, and fill weights.
Communicate current status of inspections to QC Manager.
Communicate issues with work instructions and procedures to QC Manager.
Document inspection results.
Required Experience:
1-3 years of production/manufacturing/quality control experience preferred but not required
High school diploma or equivalent, Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus
Some background in physical sciences and algebra
Ability to accurately read and enter computer data through a variety of tests
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other MS Office applications
Experience in SAP recommended but not required
Salary Target Range: $25.00 p/h - $30.00 p/h. Bonus Eligible
