The Role of the Design Engineer Will Include:
Designing bespoke packaging machinery and automated equipment
Producing detailed engineering drawings and design documentation
Working on both new machine designs and modifications to existing equipment
Creating 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings
Working closely with mechanical, electrical, controls, production and commissioning engineers
The Successful Design Engineer Will Have:
Previous experience within a Design Engineer or similar engineering position
Experience using 3D CAD software
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes

This role is based on-site in Newbury, within a fast-paced and highly capable engineering environment that combines design, PCB fabrication, and assembly under one roof. You will work across a wide variety of industries including aerospace, automotive, industrial, and IoT, leading full lifecycle product development projects from concept through to production.
Key responsibilities of the Electronics Engineer job based in Newbury:
Lead end-to-end electronics product development projects, from initial concept and specification through to prototyping and production.
Design innovative electronic systems and supporting embedded firmware.
Create schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer.

Knowledge of EMC testing, compliance standards, and design for manufacture is highly desirable.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or related field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
3-5+ years of instructional design experience in manufacturing, industrial, logistics, operations, or technical training environments.
Experience developing instructor-led, eLearning, and performance support materials.
Experience creating video-based learning and digital learning assets.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Experience working directly with operational subject matter experts.
Excellent project management, communication, and facilitation skills.
Ability to work effectively in both office and production environments.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
