This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a skilled team producing high-quality van conversions for customers across the UK.As a Motorhome Engineer, you'll be responsible for transforming light commercial vehicles into fully equipped, customer-specific solutions. Working in a modern workshop, you'll install mechanical, electrical and storage systems while ensuring every build meets the highest standards of quality and safety.Key Responsibilities of the Motorhome Engineer opportunity
Build and convert light commercial vehicles to customer specifications.
Install racking, storage systems and bespoke conversion equipment.
Fit electrical components including internal and external lighting, battery management systems
Carry out repairs and modifications to completed vehicle builds, including occasional UK travel with overnight stays. (This will be on an adhoc basis if the current field based engineer cant get to a customers site for what ever reason)
Complete job cards and update work completed using the company's internal systems.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
Work closely with the Design & Development team to support product improvements.
Report technical or quality concerns to the Aftersales Manager.
